People think buying a... read more new home is a task, these professionals make it so much easier to get the whole thing done. Highly recommended and the product quality of Sterling has brought me back 3 times now. Possession update:- October 2024….. Like I already stated this is our 3rd Sterling home, however things did not go as smoothly as our previous new homes did. Weeks before our possession date we raised concerns at the level of work still to be completed, and were assured it would be. A different site super had taken over our build one week previous to our move in date and only then things seemed to move along. We put the walk through back a few days so that the flooring could be completed for our final inspection, however we were not very happy with quite a few issues. The front driveway has sat all summer with nothing being done, and it was poured 3 days before possession and now we can’t use the driveway for 28 days until it cures. On the day of possession work was still being done inside with regard to drywall fixes, sanding and painting. Even though a cleaner was here there is still a lot of drywall dust. We feel the level of workmanship wasn’t the same as previous as it was rushed in the final weeks. Overall we are still very happy with our new home, however there are more things that need addressed at the 30 day mark. This has took the shine off our new home as we know from the past that normally a house is all done and cleaned sometimes 2 weeks prior to possession.
