  1. Nature-Inspired Spaces

Bring the outdoors in! Large windows, indoor plants, and natural textures like stone or wood are all part of the nature-focused design movement.

Floor plans with open-to-below layouts like our Bennett, Bennett 2, Legacy or Amber are full of light and are perfect for green space or corner lots. They create a calming, natural atmosphere and can improve well-being.

  1. Multifunctional Spaces

With remote work still a significant factor, many homeowners want spaces that serve multiple purposes. Rooms that can switch between home office, guest room, and entertainment areas are important.

Our Abbott, Denali 7 and Pierce 2 floor plans all incorporate a main floor flex rooms that can be used as an office, play space or main floor bedroom. Our spacious second-floor bonus rooms that are standard on all our models, also serve multiple functions.

  1. Moody Spaces with Colour Drenching

Moody spaces continue to be popular this year; as often seen in showhome flex rooms, offices, kitchens and pantries.

Colour drenching, where a single color is used in various shades and tones across the walls, ceiling, trim, furniture, and decor within a room, takes last year’s moodiness to another level, making a room feel more expansive or cozy, depending on the color chosen.

Darker shades tend to add depth and intimacy, while lighter tones can create the illusion of space.

  1. Built-in Outdoor Living Spaces

Second and third floor balconies provide additional outdoor space for relaxation, entertaining, or enjoying the view. Even in areas with limited yard space, a balcony can serve as a cozy outdoor retreat, perfect for enjoying fresh air or a cup of coffee.

  1. Warm, Earth-Tone-Filled Spaces

While cool tones like greys have been popular for a while, 2025 will see a return to warmer, earthier hues. Rich terracotta, mustard yellows, ochre, and burnt sienna are expected to dominate walls, textiles, and accent pieces. These colors are more inviting and create a grounded, cozy feeling.
